Theoretically we all can do it. In reality, however, we often constrain ourselves, we have doubts in our skills and capabilities, and we might lack self-belief and confidence. As a result we do not see the big picture.<\/p>\n<p>How to get rid off our self-imposed limitations? How to give ourselves a try? Below are my best strategies for you to become a Big Thinker and to experience its magic:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Live your dreams.<\/b> If you can dream and imagine it, you can do it.<\/li>\n<li><b>Allocate enough time to dream and to think.<\/b> Sounds (too) obvious? Well, are you doing it?<\/li>\n<li><b>Believe in you and your ideas.<\/b> Then others will copy and follow you.<\/li>\n<li><b>Think, feel, behave, and act positively.<\/b> That will trigger a positive spiral of self-confidence and create a can-do-attitude.<\/li>\n<li><b>Be bold and brave.<\/b> Be daring and encourage yourself and others to fail.<\/li>\n<li><b>Get on your feet again after each failure.<\/b> Be proud of you. Analyze the reasons of the setbacks. Then look ahead, keep going and try it again, and again.<\/li>\n<li><b>Delete the word \u201cproblem\u201c from your vocabulary<\/b> and replace it with \u201csolution.\u201c<\/li>\n<li><b>Think outside of the box.<\/b> Think colours instead of numbers.<\/li>\n<li><b>Surround yourself with like-minded believers<\/b>, positive shapers, and creative makers. You are what you eat, i.e. you are affected by the company you keep.<\/li>\n<li><b>Treat others with respect.<\/b> Then they will support and respect you. This will strengthen your self-confidence, and \u2013 as a result \u2013 will stimulate your creativity and boldness.<\/li>\n<li><b>Be prepared to be misunderstood (for a long time).<\/b> Don\u00b4t question yourself too often. Instead try to explain your vision and don\u00b4t stray from your path, if you\u00b4re fully convinced. Stay focused.<\/li>\n<li><b>Break down your vision into ambitious goals.<\/b> Have them supported by a doable action plan. Take possible setbacks into account for your planning.
