Over the past 25 years, I’ve assisted numerous organizations and individuals around the world in growing and succeeding. I’m an Executive Coach, Consultant, and Scholar. I specialize in helping to build innovative and entrepreneurial high-performance organizations & teams.
I’m the founder and managing director of AVDH Coaching & Consulting as well as a certified ICF coach who has trained and worked with some of the leading coaches in both Europe and the U.S. I was a co-founder of Amazon Germany’s Coaching Program and a founding member of L’Oréal’s Mentoring Program. Additionally, I’m a Forbes Coaching Council member and a Fellow of the Institute of Coaching, Harvard Medical School.
Before, I served as an executive board member at Tchibo, a leading European coffee manufacturer and omnichannel retailer. I also gained comprehensive management and leadership experience as Vice President at Chewy, Director of Talent Development at Amazon, Director of Kindle, Managing Director of Amazon BuyVIP, and in various senior international roles at L’Oréal.
I have coached, consulted, and advised executives and emerging leaders from businesses of all sizes, start-up entrepreneurs, and future leaders. My coaching approach is progressive, strongly goal-oriented, and scientifically validated. I hold a Doctor of Education (EdD) from Northeastern University, Boston, and an MBA from Henley Business School in the UK.

The book proposes an academically researched, developed, and validated model of eight dimensions of successful coaching as well as a five-step implementation plan which can be used as an impactful framework to embed coaching skills in organizational settings to create a sustainable and growth-generating coaching culture.
It will be shown that internal coaching is an excellent tool to onboard, integrate, and develop (new) employees. Successful coaching will result in higher job satisfaction (for both coach and coachee), better work and business results, and superior retention levels: A long-term win for both the organization, its employees, and customers.
